There's something you should know about the steve lampi band. By the time you are seeing this website, the band is on a permanent hiatus. Upon the completion of the record, each member has gone their separate ways to pursue their individual careers all over the U.S.A.

This split is not because the members got sick of each other or because Steve liked to sleep in Arctic temperatures and forced other members to shiver and freeze their faces off. The reason is that we were never an "official" band to begin with.  We were simply four brothers and a sister in Christ with a passion to lead others in worship with their Savior.

An amazing opportunity arose for the band to get together for one last time and lead worship for a small youth camp in Sebewaing, Michigan during the week of August 7, 2005. It was also a chance for the steve lampi band to lay down some songs that Steve had written.....and, in 5 short days, twelve tracks were arranged and recorded in Pigeon, Michigan at Full Armor Productions by Ronald Badgerow, Jr.

It was with great sadness that the steve lampi band had to say goodbye, but it was also with great joy that a wonderful memory had been made with the collaboration of their first (and perhaps their last) record, Be Still.

Our desire is that Christ Jesus will be lifted up in the making of this album; that those who chose to listen will grow closer in worship and communion with HIM.
